这里有独特的疏林草原景观五角枫生态旅游景区，它犹如一颗镶嵌在科尔沁草原上的璀璨明珠，与湛蓝的天空、碧绿的草地辉映，皴染出一幅祖国正北方“枫情万种”的山水长卷。
这里有草原上的“马尔代夫”翰嘎利湖休闲旅游度假区。您可以在百亩柔软细腻的白沙滩上欣赏湖光山色，尽享沙滩音乐烧烤的浪漫时光。这里是国家4C级自驾车旅居车营地，景区内还有星海营地、星空营地、房车营地。置身于此，您能亲身感受到“落霞与孤鹜齐飞，秋水共长天一色”的绝美意境。

科右中旗有独特的自然风貌，有科尔沁国家级自然保护区和3处自治区级自然保护区。深厚的历史文化底蕴，享有“一旗九乡五非遗”的美誉：是全国文化先进旗，先后被命名为中国民间文化艺术之乡、中国蒙古族刺绣文化之乡和全区乌力格尔之乡、科尔沁服饰之乡、蒙古族四胡之乡、安代之乡、赛马之乡、科尔沁民歌之乡、蒙古文书法之乡。创造了“规模最大的蒙古族刺绣技艺展演”和“最大规模书法课”两项吉尼斯世界纪录。有乌力格尔、蒙古族拉弦乐器制作技艺、科尔沁蒙医药浴疗法、蒙古四胡音乐、蒙古族刺绣5个国家级非遗项目。“枫情马镇”旅游品牌成为草原旅游的新兴旅游目的地。

这里是亚洲最大的疏林草原。景区位于科右中旗镇政府所在地巴彦呼舒镇北25公里。五角枫是科右中旗最具特色的名贵稀有树种，景区总面积达93万亩，这里四季“枫”景秀美独特，登高远眺可一览万亩五角枫林的壮丽辽阔，春夏之交，五角枫绽放出娇嫩的小黄花，很是灵动可爱。转而夏至，枫叶如翠蝶飞舞，最是清新沁脾。秋风吹过，漫山层林尽染，姹紫嫣红。待到寒冬，素衣青妆也掩藏不住她的妩媚多姿。

中影制作基地以旅游观光为主、影视剧拍摄为辅，以电影手法还原上世纪60、70年代北方城乡建筑风貌，同步配套“食、住、行、游、购、娱”功能设施。
整体布局以电影博物馆为坐标南北分区，北区为北方城镇影视区，南区为北方农村民俗风情影视区。北方城镇影视区以街区为中轴，左右依次布景邮局、汽车站、一食堂、外贸公司、新华书店、国营照相馆等拍摄场景，并设兴安盟美食一条街，增加游客参与度与体验感；北方农村民俗风情影视区布景人民公社、供销社及民宿拍摄区；电影博物馆分为六大展区，涵盖了中国电影发展史、民族电影发展史、VR等多个展厅，展示了中国电影从无声到有声、从黑白到彩色、从模拟到数字、从传统到现代的技术变革进程。

夏季景区小吃一条街会举办“特色美食节”，这里民俗文化独特，地方饮食特色鲜明，蒙古馅饼、哈拉海汤、葱香荞面饼、科尔沁铜锅羊杂、牧民羊盘肠等传统美食制作技艺分别被列入盟、旗级非物质文化遗产名录。此外，因时令不同，美食风味也不尽相同，酸菜炖粉条、猪血肠、铁锅炖大鹅、稻田蟹、锅台鱼、特色全鱼宴极具地方特色，原材料均取材于当地采摘园、河塘等。
