为热烈庆祝第五个中国人民警察节，增强全省广大公安民警辅警的职业荣誉感、自豪感、归属感，展现山西公安工作新作为和队伍新形象，12月27日上午，省公安厅举行第五个中国人民警察节全省公安机关庆祝活动启动仪式。副省长、省公安厅厅长张韶华出席。

下午，厅机关举办了“忠诚颂歌 礼赞华章”合唱比赛，19支参赛队伍用庄严、热烈的合唱作品，生动展现山西公安踔厉奋发、勇毅前行的精神风貌。

本着既隆重热烈又务实节俭的原则，从即日至2025年1月10日，省公安厅还将陆续组织“升国旗、迎警旗”仪式、“忠诚的足迹、时代的荣光”向人民报告主题活动暨警营荣誉仪式、警营开放周暨警用装备展示等庆祝活动。全省公安机关同步开展“我为群众办实事”“警歌嘹亮·点亮平安”“红色公安故事会”等活动。
