12月28日下午，在天津市第四十五中学报告厅，由市妇联、市工商联、天津阳光义工爱心社主办的2024年“天津妈妈新疆娃结亲”活动·河东区专场现场，来自河东区各领域的76位优秀“天津妈妈”“天津爸爸”与该校125名新疆娃结亲。本次活动是由河东区委统战部牵头，多部门合力，带动区域内爱心人士积极参与，打造了“天津妈妈新疆娃结亲”河东实践。

“小巴会为我攒下他的小零食和新疆特产，还给我手写了8封书信，分享他的成长和收获。”这是“天津妈妈”陈欣分享她与结亲新疆娃巴拉提江的故事，让与会人员感受到跨越血缘的母子情深。在陈欣的悉心关爱下，一直内向寡言的小巴如今已经与她成了无话不谈的朋友。“小巴变得爱说爱笑，还成为了班里的班长、学校的自强学子。”陈欣满脸骄傲。听到“天津妈妈”夸奖，小巴昂首挺胸、目光炯炯。

最后，四十五中学生以舞蹈《爱我中华》和歌曲《不忘初心》两个精彩节目表达对天津的热爱、对祖国的热爱。
“天津妈妈新疆娃结亲”活动自2023年3月启动以来，得到了市委、市政协的高度重视和社会各界的大力支持，“天津妈妈”的推荐渠道不断拓展，涌现出了很多“天津爸爸”“天津哥哥”“天津姐姐”。武清区、河东区还分别举办专场活动，后续各区妇联将联动各有关部门，加大推动力度，让更多的新疆娃早日与天津妈妈结亲。截至2024年12月，已结亲478对。
